Teasley families, get ready to mark your calendar for great events coming up! Click on the link below to view the March edition of The Teasley Times. As always, there is so much you'll want to read about! Next week is Green Week, and every day the Teasley community will be making small changes to help our planet. You'll also see information about kindergarten and new 1st grader registration on March 28, the upcoming CRCT, neat ways money is being raised for the Purple Party on May 4, upcoming restaurant nights at St. Angelo's and Willy's, two events on Thursday, March 22, and more!

Dear Teasley Community,
We want to give all Teasley Tigers the opportunity to explore possible career choices and learn how education is connected to a successful future. One of the ways we help kids explore the world of work is through a very special day... Career Day! And Career Day 2012 is coming soon: Friday, March 23!
We already have some great speakers lined up, but we’re still looking for energetic presenters from a broad range of careers. Are you one of the following? or do you know someone who is? Nurse, chef, cashier, store employee, manager, financial advisor, veterinarian, lawyer, plumber, mechanic, coffee shop employee, disc jockey, doctor, athlete, translator, hair stylist, architect, farmer, musician, author, actor, illustrator, mathematician, scientist, computer engineer, flight attendant, pilot, police officer, fire rescue worker, government official... We welcome you to Career Day!
Presenters are welcome to visit anytime between 8:30 and 12:30. They will be assigned to classrooms that are age-appropriate for 20-25 minutes and then rotate to a different classroom. Some presenters visit for one session; others stay longer. If a presenter would like to talk to a larger group, classes can be combined. We welcome hands-on activities, visual aids, displays, props, and uniforms! We can assist with display set-up and technological needs if necessary.

Teasley is proud to be a part of Relay for Life. Throughout the year, we raise money to support this cause, cheering on loved ones who have survived cancer and remembering those we've lost. Some of our fundraisers are dedicated to Relay for Life. On May 11, the culminating overnight event will take place at Jim R. Miller Park. Today, February 29, 2012, we celebrate Leap Day -- one more day to live. Every $29 online donation will be doubled to $58! What an easy and wonderful way to donate!
