Thank you all for making us feel special this week for Teacher Appreciation Week. The sweet cards, notes, flowers, and other special gifts were so thoughtful. We really appreciate you all! We are the luckiest teachers in the world!
The media center is looking for volunteers for many end of the year projects. If you have 30 minutes or 2 hours, all help is appreciated. If you are interested please contact pascaline.papillon-ivey@cobbk12.org or call 770-437-5945 ext. 8.
We are very excited about our Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 17 at 8:15 in the cafeteria. We will be giving out behavior and academic awards. Your child received an invitation if he/she is receiving an award. We would love to have all parents join us in our classroom immediately following the ceremony for Pastries for Parents and a special slideshow. Look for an RSVP form in your child's folder.
Our class has been working on measurement for the last few weeks. Check out our Smilbox video to see pictures of the cool activities we have done to help learn how to measure using non-standard measurement.
Our class WON the Purple Party Challenge! We raised the most money for the Purple Party to be used to pay for a science enrichment program next year.
Ms. Mansfield has granted our entire class a "dress down" day on Monday, May 7 (including the teachers... YEAH). Your child may come dressed in non-standard school attire. We will also receive a special treat, extra recess, and no homework for the last week of school.
Make sure you put these important dates for this week on your calendar....
