At a recent Olweus networking meeting, Ms. Strother learned from another counselor that Sesame Street has a great video teaching about being the target of bullying, witnessing bullying, and being "happy to be me!" Ms. Strother has been showing the video to Kindergarten classes and some Second Grade classes, too. Mrs. Harris is showing it in First Grade. The students seem to love it (we do, too!) because of the fun songs and applicable messages. The lesson fits perfectly with the Howard B. Wigglebottom video and the Bully Busters teasing information we shared in previous lessons.
