Math Night at Publix this Thursday, February 23rd. Stop by Publix on Cumberland Parkway anytime between 5:30 and 7:30 so your child can participate in a fun math activity with classmates and teachers. The class with the highest participation percentage will receive a class Ice Cream Party from Publix!

Tomorrow, Friday, the 5th grade will be selling popcorn and / or pickles for $1 each. Proceeds go toward the 5th grade end of the year field trip. A table will be set up in the front hall from 7:20 AM - 7:50AM to take orders. Orders will be filled between 9:30 - 10:30 AM for snack time.

Last week a form was sent home for you to buy your child, friend, teacher and/or class Candy-Grams for $1. The money raised will go towards Team Teasley's Relay for Life fundraising efforts. The Candy-Grams will be delivered on Valentine's Day, February 14th and will include a message from the sender and a Blow Pop. Students, Teachers, and Parents can send Candy-Grams to each other and the number of Candy-Grams you send is not limited to the number of Candy-Grams on the form.THE CANDY-GRAMS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN FEBRARY 13!!!! The Candy-Gram forms need to be placed in an envelop with $1 included for EACH Candy-Gram. Make sure the name of the sender is on the form, Seal the envelope and label it "Candy-Grams". Some students need to finish a reading assignment.
Social Studies Chapter 11 lesson 1
The 5th grade is selling pickles on Friday. Proceeds go toward the end of the year trip. Mrs. Hiles needs some help. If you could come from 7:20 until 7:50 to collect money or from 9:30 until 10:30 to help deliver the pickles that would be a great help.
Math test Friday will again be on finding the area of triangles, squares, rectangles and parallelogram.s

The last day to order a yearbook is Tuesday, Jan. 31. You can go to the teasley website to order your yearbook in a hurry or send the form in that was sent home.

Social Studies read lesson 3 in Chapter 9 and work on project that is due Tuesday
During this grading period we are studying electricity and magnetism in Science and in Social Studies the students will study WW1, the Great Depression and the Jazz Age. We will also review material for the CRCT.
As you can see we are going to be very busy.
