It is amazing the different things going on at Teasley today. This morning the Kindergarten students performed their musical, "E-I-E-I OOPS" for the students. They were just as focused and enthusiastic as they had been last night for their parents. Ms. Smith did an amazing job pulling together 130 kindergarten students into an organized, wonderful production. She could not have done it without the support of the entire kindergarten team and wonderful volunteer parents.
Right after the performance, the Fifth Grade students, teachers, and parent volunteers were off to Timberidge for the fifth grade trip. First thing this morning we were all out on the playscape for the fifth grade class picture. It is truly hard to realize these kids will soon be leaving us.
Some First Grade teachers are having moms in for a special Mother's Day celebration later today.
Our WatchD.O.G. Dad of the day, Paul Schouest, is going through his schedule for the day helping out the school and teachers. This program has just started out and I hope we can expand it next year.
I am about to meet with the Teasley PAWS Foundation for the final meeting of the school year. This group works throughout the year to support the school in so many ways.
As challenging as things can be for me as a principal, all I can say is that this is a great day in Teasley Town.
