Hello Parents!
Beyond the classroom doors students are learning lots of new and review information. It is very important that we have parental/family support, in our efforts, to ensure that the students are successful! Please spend a few minutes each night and ask your child what did they do in each subject and to tell you something about what they learned. Please ensure students are completing homework assignments, as it is reinforcement for what was taught in the classroom. We have to be partners in our students education. Keeping in mind, our students today, are our future leaders tomorrow!!!
Please, ensure our students are getting enough sleep at night. Studies show it is recommended students age 9-10 yrs old should get 10-11 hours of sleep a night. Students are learning the whole school day! Students cannot learn and absorb information, if they are sleepy.

Math
During the last few weeks, our students learned in math what a variable is and how to write expressions! The students also learned input and output. The students were able to gain much practice on paper and on the smartboard. The students partnered and shared writing expressions.
