Here is the latest news.  There is news from Mrs. Tulman our art teacher and the most recent note from our principal,  Mrs. Robblee.  We also have a reminder about individual class pictures which are this Wednesday.  Remnder, Wednesday is also an early release day and school will be dismissed 2 hours earlier.

Thank You

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for all the items you sent in for our Nacho Math Party.  The kids had a blast eating their nachos.  We had many great volunteers who helped us out.  Most of all I would like to say thank you for working with you child to learn those addition problems.  We will be focusing on subtraction facts in the coming weeks with a cookie decorating party to celebrate in early December.  Keep checking the blog because I hope to post a few pictures from yesterday soon.

Nacho Math Party

Tomorrow is our Nacho Math Party in celebration of learning our math facts.  Please send in the item assigned to you tomorrow.  I sent home a note last week.  If you can come by to help with the celebration please be here at 1:00.  I will need help getting the items down to the cafe and setting up.  The classes will come to the cafe at 1:15.  This is going to be fun!

Buy a Chicken Biscuit Friday, Oct. 2nd

This Friday, October 2nd you and your child can buy a Chick-Fil-A chicken biscuit for breakfast.  They will cost $2.50 (that's 10 quarters).  You can purchase them in the carpool line.  Bus riders can buy biscuits after they get off the bus.  All the money raised will go into the 1st grade field trip fund. 

Relay for Life

This May our school will participate in Relay for Life which raises money to help fight cancer.  Here is some information about the event and how you can gat involved.
