As spring draws near...we have been asked to remind you not to send students to school in flip-flops, thong sandals, or Crocs. These types of shoes have caused countless playground accidents. Please make certain that all sandals have an ankle strap. If a child does not have the proper shoes for recess, he/she will have to take a book out to recess and read at the picnic tables. Also, please do not send your child in flip-flops, thong sandals, or Crocs alonf with another pair of tennis shoes to change into for recess. They need to wear the same pair of shoes all day long.
We were supposed to have our Movie Math Celebration this Friday, but I had to reschedule ours for Tuesday, March 16th because of a conflicting doctor's appointment I have. I gave each child a note about it today (Thursday, March 11th).
