Teasley Elementary Food Drive - October 17 - 28

We have exciting news about our annual Food Drive!  This year we are extending our food drive over a two-week period so that we can help out two amazing organizations!  We are partnering with MUST Ministries and The Cobb and Douglas Community Services Board (CSB).  We will collect items during the next 2 weeks (October 17-28) and then deliver to MUST and CSB.  We hope that every child can bring in at least one item.  We have divided the food items by grade and by boy/girl.

Kdg. Girls:  Canned Chili                   3^rd Girls:   Spaghetti & spaghetti sauce
Kdg. Boys:  Canned meat                   3^rd Boys:  Boxed Pasta
1^st Girls:  Oatmeal                             4^th Girls:  Canned vegetables
1^st Boys:  Cereal (not oatmeal)           4^th Boys:  Canned beans 
2^nd Girls:  Jelly                                  5^th Girls:  Boxed Dinners
2^nd Boys:  Canned Fruit                      5^th Boys:  Canned pasta (ravioli, etc.)

PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILDREN DROP OFF THEIR UNOPENED, NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEM IN THE MEDIA CENTER!  If you have any questions, please contact one of our counselors, Ms. Strother or Ms. Harris.  Thank you!!!

Veterans Celebration on Thursday, November 3

Save the date for a very wonderful evening at Teasley!  On Thursday, November 3, we will celebrate the service and accomplishments of our country's veterans with a performance by the Second Grade students and a special ceremony.  Three years ago, we held a similar evening of celebration, and over 60 veterans were recognized.
