Hello, Teasley families. A flyer regarding the Teasley Science Fair Information night should be coming home with your oldest Teasley Tiger today. I just wanted to take a moment to mention it here incase any questions arise. If it happened to get lost in the shuffle, you can download a copy of the flyer at the bottom of this post.
The science fair information night is for those of you who have children interested in completing a project for the science fair. The science fair is strictly optional, it is not required, and the projects are not graded. At the science fair information night I will be sharing information and tips about formatting and completing a science fair project. The projects will be judged, and the top 3 projects will be moving on to the district science fair; which is why the projects need to follow the district's criteria.
Please don't let this overwhelm you. The format is very straight forward, and I will keep information regarding the science fair posted on my blog so you can refer to it as necessary.
If you are unable to attend the science fair information night (I know, this is a BUSY time of year), but would still like to receive sceince fair information, that is fine. I can send the information home with your child. After the science fair information night, I will post the information from the meeting here so it will be accessable to families who were not able to attend.
I look forward to seeing the WONDERFUL ideas the students come up with! I know there will be some interesting experiments that come from these curoius minds!
The science fair projects are not due until January (tenatively the 24th). I want interested participants to have ample time to create their projects.
Thank you for your interst and support.
Corey Rudd
