SORA by Overdrive! Overdrive is a company that provides a reading platform for eBooks to libraries all over the world. The Cobb County public library has used it for years. You might be familiar with Overdrive and maybe “Libby” their more user-friendly app. The “Kid” program hosted by Overdrive is called SORA. Teasley was chosen to give it a test drive for the county as a reading platform! I included the login information on the pink summer reading flyer. If families have questions, please forward them on to me.
I have included a page on my blog to tell a little about as well how to access it. The best part about it is that we can link our accounts to the database of eBooks in the Cobb public library catalog. Thousands of books at our fingertips. Sora can be used on computer, tablets, and phones. The books consist of traditional picture books, audio books, and read-alongs! Please feel free to link my blog to your blog or pass along to parents for more information.
Happy Reading!

UPDATE:
The username for Sora on my summer reading flyer is incorrect! If parents email you, forward them to me.
Instead of the student number for username, they will need to use the O365 login which is Firstname.Lastname
I will send home bookmarks with this correct information tomorrow. Look for these in your boxes soon.
Sorry for the confusion.
