Language Arts Homework

Students are to complete Sort 28 in their Words Their Way book (page 113-114) and pages 65&66 in their Super Writers book. Due to my absence for training two days this week, the students will not have a spelling test on this sort. We are spending time working on several activities to ensure the comprehension of the words.

Spelling Words for Week 11-2-09 - 11-6-09

On Friday 11/6/09 the students will need to be able to spell and group the vocabulary words based on long vowel pattens in accented syllables. We went over all the words and group them in the two sections long vowel in 1st syllable and long vowel in 2nd syllable.
