This is a class participation contest! Each grade level class with the highest percentage of PAWS Foundation memberships will receive a popsicle party!
The Foundation is raising money to fund the salary of the Science Specialist. This position is not part of the Cobb County budget, it is 100% funded by parent and community support. We need EVERYONE to contribute in order to continue our Science Specialist position at Teasley! We are the only Smyrna elementary school to have this special educational enhancement for our students! So, please join today. Thank you!
Deadline for party eligibility is September 7, 2012

The Teasley PAWS Foundation is thrilled to welcome Mrs. Corey Rudd as the Science Specialist for 2012-2013!
Mrs. Rudd brings to the position of Foundation Science Instructor five years of teaching experience. Born and raised in the Detroit metro area, she relocated to Atlanta in 2010.
As an academically accomplished graduate of Oakland University, she completed her Bachelor's degree in Education with a Science concentration in 1999. She continued her studies by adding a math endorsement to her certification, and is near completion of her Master's degree.
Outside of school, she is a happily married mother of two boys, ages 5 and 7. Her hobbies include photography, cooking, reading, gardening, and boating. She is looking forward to being a part of Teasley and is excited for a successful year as Mrs. Science!

We are excited for the upcoming school year and making a positive impact for every child at Teasley!
Our goals for 2012-2013 are:
Increase Parent Donations to $15,000
Fund a Science Specialist (This will be a full time certified teacher working with every Teasley student focusing on Science instruction.)
Make available $1,800 in the form of mini-grants that each grade level may apply for ($300/grade) to supplement classroom education
We really need the support of every Teasley family to make these goals a reality. Please consider making a tax deductable donation to PAWS at any level from $20-$500+. ALL donations matter and are greatly appreciated. Remember your donation goes farther if your company has a matching program. If you would like more information about making a donation, please contact Jody Adair at [email protected] Thank you in advance for your generosity!
